Cool Tip: Stainless Steel Steals the Smell of Garlic

One of the kitchen smells that lingers longer than any other seems to be the smell of garlic, particularly on your hands.  As much as we love it on food, and we do ... but on our hands when we leave the kitchen ... not so much!

There is a really simple solution:  just rub your hands on a piece of stainless steel--it's almost amazing how quickly the odor vanishes.  They sell an oval shaped piece of stainless to rub...and we've bought it, but we wouldn't recommend wasting your money on such a single purpose item.  You can accomplish the same thing with the Garlic Rocker, or even a stainless steel spoon.
