I confess that I do not use this every time I need garlic, but when working ahead this serves as its own mise bowl. Super!!!

It cleans easily if you give a small whack on the chopping block to loosen the residual bits and then wash it before the stuff dries in it (like your mother taught you to do).

I love this garlic "rocker". I've been using freeze-dried chopped garlic for about a year because i got too lazy to chop my own - but the rocker is just as easy to use as opening a jar, and the fresh garlic is stronger. Did I mention the sleek design? And the easy clean-up?

I have been chopping garlic by hand all my cooking life. I hate the smushed mess that a garlic press makes and no matter what the hype, every one I have ever encountered has not been easy to clean. The garlic rocker chops rather than smushes and is a cinch to clean. I love it!

Ellen/Hal & Willi: Sorry about about your experience ...we found that simple water pressure - using the sprayer nozzle - was quickly and highly effective ...if its done promptly and the little bits don't dry in the holes ....

I love the instantaneous effect of the Garlic Rocker. It's very quick and easy to use. I would like the tool better if it came with a plastic spiked part that would press the unused garlic through the perforations. Then it would be perfect.
