Yes, we found the perfect fat separator. Now we realize that a fat separator may not be the holy grail, but this is a category of tool that we’ve looked at for a long time. Either to remove the fat from a perfect chicken soup, or to start to build a great gravy or sauce. The old fat separators had a spout that started at the bottom of the container so that it could pour the good juices from under the layer of fat, but there was always a layer of fat left in the spout that you had to deal with. Then there were a group of separators that had a plug in the spout, but that was either awkward, or didn’t work, or both. Then someone thought to take the juices from the bottom of the container under the fat, and the first generation was pretty good, but not perfect. But now ...perfect has arrived....

Best fat seperator we've ever found!The fact that this releases liquid from the bottom, avoiding pouring all the fat that inevitably collects in the standard pouring spout is a game changer. You get all the liquid goodness and none of the fat.

Product is terrible - does not work at allI tried to use the Cuisipro Fat Separator to separate out the fat from the sauce in slow cooker recipe. It clogged and did not work at all. When I pressed the trigger nothing came out. I gave up and used my older fat separator.
