We’ve been on the hunt...for the perfect non-disposable straw. We all know that it’s better for the environment to have something we can reuse (with minimal effort), rather than something we throw away after a single use. And in these Pandemic times, personal sanitation is paramount.

It should be stainless steel--which cleans up well and won’t break if dropped. (It also doesn’t suction itself to the bottom of a glass the way a silicone straw can.)

We don’t like the taste or mouth-feel of stainless steel, so the straw should have a silicone mouthpiece, so the stainless steel isn’t what’s on your lips.

The straw also needs a portable home--a case that lets you carry it wherever you’re going, AND keeps the straw clean while you’re carrying it around with you. A straw that has lint from your pocket or purse is no fun!

It should be compact and easy to carry. You don’t want to carry something long and unwieldy; if it’s not easy to carry, then you won’t carry it--and then where will you be when you need a straw?

Finally, it should have a cleaning brush that is sized to the straw, in order to assure that you can clean it easily and thoroughly, so that it stays as clean and hygienic as possible.
