Fox Run Meat Shredders
So we’ve all had wonderful barbeque (and if you haven’t, then you must: take a trip to Memphis, or Austin, or various parts of NC, or SC … do the research and make the trip: this is “Bucket List” material, for sure!)
My first BBQ cathedral-stop was during a US Army weekend-off at Arthur Bryant’s in Kansas City … where Mr. Bryant himself - RIP - chopped the burnt-ends and served them - hands-free and correctly sauced - on white bread … oh yes, I remember it well!-] An epiphany!
So what do you do when you want to reproduce your own wonderful “BBQ” experience? How do you cut the meat to the correct/desired consistency? How do you convert that beautifully cooked pork shoulder or other delicious meat into the main ingredient of your “BBQ” experience? Well, ... after you cook it, you gotta shred it ….
And to do that, you need to start with that fully-cooked, falling-off-the-bone pork butt (or other meat) … and then use these “claws” from Fox Run … they call them Meat Shredders … to pull the meat into the right sized-delicious pieces you want …. And you can achieve that at any size; from coarse to fine, you simply keep pulling until all the meat has been shredded to the size and consistency you want.
And you can use these tool on chicken breasts, turkey breasts, and beef brisket … and they work really well on the various parts of whole pigs, goats, or lambs …. The point is: these are the tools you need to make “pulled whatever’ from that well-done larger piece of smoked meat - yankees call it BBQ - and it will be delicious …. These are dishwasher safe, and come with polypropylene covers for the teeth … for safety in the drawer.
These are the Tools you need: well designed for their intended purpose … they deliver the result you want and need … Very Cool Tools! Enjoy!
