Chicken broth is one of the work horses in our kitchen.  We use it in everything from rice, to sauce, to a base for soup. So many recipes call for just a part of a can of chicken broth, so the question arises: what's the best way to store the rest?  We've found that the plastic lid from a tennis ball can (wash it first!) fits perfectly on a standard soup can. And storing the soup in its can saves the hassle and exposure of transferring it to another container.
