First, these bowls are microwave safe. That means that these bowls are the perfect vessels to melt butter in the microwave for any reason; and because of the high sides, there is less splatter. So you can melt butter (or chocolate) in them, and then mix in other wet or dry ingredients (see our absolutely favorite Brownie Recipe) for any recipe. This means at least one less thing to wash.

Secondly, because these bowls are made of flexible silicone, you can squeeze the sides and pour the contents easily, especially into a stand mixer or any narrow container. And the smooth interior makes pouring - and scraping the final drop with your favorite spatula - a cinch.

These bowls also easily nest into each other, due to their somewhat tall and narrow design, which makes them more compact for storage in your drawer or cabinet. These bowls also are dishwasher safe for easy and thorough cleanup.

Admittedly, it takes a little getting used to that the bowl is flexible (it’s hard to crack an egg on its rim), but actually, mixing in it is very easy, because you can squeeze the bowl to make sure that you can easily incorporate all the ingredients when you’re mixing. And the stable base makes the bowls easy to use.
