Every kitchen needs a hand juicer: to extract as much juice as possible from each half of a piece of citrus, to carefully add that last drop of juicy flavor to any dish, and above all to do all of this without leaving behind those annoying pits, with their flavor-distorting tannins and crunch.

There are two major advantages to this Cool Tool. First, the Stainless Steel is solid, and non-oxidizable: it doesn’t stain. And it won’t chip away to what cast metal is underneath those pretty colors. Sorry if that states the obvious. But it makes a big difference. And second, it is properly sized, both in the size of the 2.75” diameter bowl and the 5”+ handles: more than 0.75” longer than the ‘usual suspects’ ...which adds extra leverage to the juicing grip. We’ve had larger fruit, but you need to cut those into smaller pieces before juicing anyway because even the bigger hand juicers will not do a proper job unless it fits into the bowl. And this bowl is the ‘right’ size.
